Physiotherapy at home
Getting to a clinic is hard when someone can barely walk. Home physiotherapy brings the sessions to the patient, and lets the therapist work on the movements that matter in their own home, like getting out of bed, using the bathroom and climbing stairs.
What the physiotherapist does
- Recovery after knee, hip and other orthopaedic surgery
- Rehabilitation after stroke
- Exercises for back, neck and joint pain
- Balance and walking practice for older adults
- Breathing exercises where the doctor advises them
- A simple exercise plan to continue between sessions
Who it’s for
Patients after surgery or injury, people recovering from stroke, and older adults who want to stay mobile and avoid falls.
